I have sensitive data on the drive. How can I be sure that my recovered data stays safe while being shipped to me?

Data recovery is a delicate procedure. When a hard drive goes bad, even a technically inclined individual may accidentally overwrite the very data he or she is trying to recover. Let the professionals do their job and you minimize the risk of making it worse or losing the data forever.

Even when the drive has been re-formatted, the data typically stays on the magnetic platters of the disk, which means it is potentially recoverable. We can attempt rebuilding your partition or we can perform a raw carve of the unallocated area of the disk to get your files back. You simply will not know until you try it, which data can or cannot be recovered from your media.

We use professional grade, tested and verified hardware write blockers, which allow reading of the drive's surface but prevent any writing to it at a physical level. We use the same professional computer forensic software as that used by the law enforcement and the FBI, which can perform advanced data recovery tasks not available in less expensive home-made applications. We pay thousands of dollars each year for our software licenses and you get the benefit of the best state-of-the-art data recovery techniques and algorithms in existence today.

The truth is that noone can tell if your specific data can be recovered or not until the drive is previewed or carved using the sophisticated computer forensic software that we employ. The good news is that in most cases that we see, the data is in fact recoverable. Your drive assessment service is free and we will be glad to send you the screenshots of the files and folders that we find to be recoverable for you to review before you decide to pay for the recovery service. You have no risk and you are in complete control.

I have sensitive data on the drive. How can I be sure that my recovered data stays safe while being shipped to me?

We use 256-bit encryption for all data shipments so your data stays completely safe and would appear completely scrambled to anyone intercepting the shipment and trying to read your files. Likewise, your recovered data would continue to be safe if your shipment was lost. You will receive a secure password from us so you and only you will be able to access your recovered data once you receive the shipment from us.

We have several locations nationwide but our primary data recovery center is in Tennessee. We will provide detailed shipping instructions once your order for the free assessment has been received.

You can call (310) 266-0299 or send us an E-mail at [email protected]

We will keep you informed every step of the way, when your drive is received, after it has been previewed or carved using forensic software, what the technician has been able to find with respect to recoverability of your data and when you might expect to get your recovered data back.
